Warning to all....
I got a used 4 processor IBM 7100 this weekend and installed FC5 on it. Really nice installation and all went well...but, the x10dev drivers will not work on FC5. They compile just fine and install just fine, but when you try to "modprobe x10" it tells you that the drivers are using parameters that do not exist.
Over the weekend I did find out what is going on. The new compiler is optimizing out the parameter variables causing the MODULE_PARM statments to be referring to static variables that do not exist after the optimization.
I should have a fix by the end of this week.
