Hi,

I've got an old HD11A Serial device which I think is simply a rebranded CM11A with IBM's name on it. I just loaded your stuff - 2.1.3 and tried it out on CentOS 4.2 (2.6.9-22.0.1.EL) (Basically Free Redhat). Seemed to install ok, log working, but my commands aren't having any effect on the modules I test. Just wondering if you now off hand if the HD11A works as a CM11A or not, before I burn too many cycles troubleshooting this.

Thanks for any info!

Hi again,

I've played a little more with this. I now notice that if I moitor the log and turn devices on and off with an x10 controller I have, I can see the commands being received by cm11a as these are being logged to the file as received. However, none of the commands issued from the computer are turning the module on or off even though the are logged properly. I don't have anything plugged into the cm11a but don't think that should make a difference. Any thoughts on this woudl be great.

regards,

p

OK - One more follow-up:

As mentioned, from external controllers I can see the received signals, however the signals are not going out even though the log shows them as being sent. (Or at least they aren't effecting the lights).

I installed Home Director (the application that originally came with it) on an Windows system. All worked fine, so the module is good. Any thoughts? Am I missing something stupid or?

thanks for any help!
