[wish-info] Problem loading module in RH9 2.4.20-8

I installed from the precompiled rpm. My system is running RH9 2.4.20-8,
without devfs. Installation worked fine, but when i try to load the module, it
complains about devfs, even though i set the option to be off. Any ideas?
